Description:

This lusterleaf holly (Ilex latifolia) is located by the entrance of the temple kitchen’s front garden.

At the time of measurement, it stood 6 meters tall and had a trunk circumference of 1.88 meters, a base circumference of 1.85 meters, and a longitudinal and latitudinal branch spread of 6.8 meters.

This specimen is admired for the ramrod straightness of its trunk and the symmetrical spread of its branches.
