Description:

This round burial mound once measured 20 meters in diameter and 2 meters tall, a far cry from its shape in the modern day. Small shards of cylindrical “haniwa” sculptures found in the tomb suggest that it was built in the latter half of the sixth century. 

This cultural property is located on private property. Please be courteous towards other visitors, locals, and the sites’ owners/curators when visiting.
