Description:

   The Daikochi Inari Mounded Tomb is located in the southern region of the Sobagaito Mounded Tomb Group. At 24 meters in diameter and 2 meters tall, this round burial mound is believed to be close to its original shape. Burial items including a long sword, iron arrowheads, crystal “kirikodama” beads, and spherical glass beads were unearthed from the stone burial compartment during an archaeological survey in 1965. The construction of the stone burial compartment and the artifacts within lead us to believe that this tomb was constructed in the first half of the 7th century.
