Description:

This placard dates back to 1711. It was displayed in the village’s official bulletin area. Its primary purpose was to encourage people to inform on illegal practitioners of Christianity. It warns that, starting with town leadership, up to five people would be punished should the village be found to be harboring secret Christians.
