Description:

These clay figures known as “haniwa” date from the latter half of the 6th century. They were made in the Oinazuka Haniwa Kilns, the ruins of which are in modern-day Konosu. The figures stand 55 and 48 cm tall, with damage on the heads. There are carvings on the torsos of each figure.
