Description: |
This collection includes many volumes of village laws and rules from the early half of the Edo period (1603-1868). There are also documents relating to annual land taxes from throughout the Edo period, as well as those relating to the Minuma Daiyosui Irrigation Canal and the “sukego” villages that were charged with maintaining and serving the highway system. |
