Description:

A collection of 8 volumes of registers from the cadastral survey of 1591 and one cadastre from 1690. These valuable texts give insight into the freeholding farmer system,  from its establishment at the opening of the early modern era to its collapse in the upheaval of the Bakumatsu period.
