Description:

Made during the Muromachi period (1336~1573) by the smith Doken, this spear was in the possession of Ashikaga Masauji, a military leader of the Koga Kubo government. The blade measures 29.6 cm long and 23.3 cm across.

It was preserved through the generations at Kangoin Temple in Kuki.

This cultural property is available to the public on a limited basis.
