Description:

This black-lacquer pawlonia saddle was used in battle. The year 1575 is marked on a branch of the saddle tree in India ink. The stirrups are made of steel and black lacquer. This piece was previously owned by Kantoin Temple in Kuki City.

This cultural property is not on permanent display.
