Description:

This is a collaborative work produced by Osafune Kagemitsu and Osafune Kagemasa (aka Shinsaburo Kagemasa) near the end of the Kamakura period (1185-1333). It measures 82.4 cm long. A dedication from the petitioner on the surface includes the text, “Ogawara Tanjitokimoto, Saemon-no-jo (third-ranked officer of the Left Division of Outer Palace Guards), resident of Musashi Province’s Chichibu District.”
