Description: |
Eleven-Faced Kannon (Ekādaśamukha): Twelve small figures representing transformed Buddhas, or “kebutsu”, are carved into the front of Kannon`s crown. The statue stands 63.8 cm tall, 11.3 cm deep, and 20.5 cm wide. The Immovable Wisdom King (Acala): The clarity and delicacy of the chisel marks give a mature air to this piece. The statue stands 60.3 cm tall, 12.4 cm deep, and 24 cm wide. |
