Description:

  This threadleaf false cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Filifera’) had a height of 6 meters, a trunk circumference of 1.4 meters, and a base circumference of 1.94 meters at the time of designation.

The main trunk splits into three about 2 meters up from the ground, with each branching trunk taking the cylindrical shape of a freestanding tree.

At the time of designation, this well-maintained garden tree stood out in then-Omiya City as a top-tier example of form, shape, and size.
