Description:

   This weeping cherry blossom tree (Prunus itosakura ‘Pendula’ Maxim) is located in front of Enzoin Temple’s Jizodo Hall. It had a height of 11 meters, a trunk circumference of 1.8 meters, and a base circumference of 3.1 meters at the time of designation.

Although the tree has taken some damage from typhoons, its dripping branches still sway elegantly in the spring breezes of late March.
