Beginning and Ending Water Use

（1） Please contact the Saitama City Bureau of Waterworks for:
    ·    Beginning water use when moving in etc.
    ·    Ending water use when moving out etc.

（2） Notify them of:
    ·   Address, Name
    ·   The day you want to turn on/off your home’s water
    ·   Phone number, etc.

Water and Sewage Service Charges

Based on the amount of water used over a 2-month period.

How to Pay Your Water Service Charges:

Automatic Bank Withdrawal  

1.  Automatic withdraw payment from your bank account.
2.  Authorization is necessary.
3.  The necessary forms for authorization of automatic bank withdraw are available at banks, Saitama City Bureau of Waterworks, or the post office.  It is also available for download here, or you may call us to have it delievered to your address.

Payment Slip

1.   Payment slips will be sent to you by post.
2.   Take the payment slips and pay at banks, the post office, convenience stores, Bureau of Waterworks, or your respective ward office.
3.   Payments may also be made by scanning the barcode on the payment slip via mobile payment services such as PayPay and LINE Pay.

Credit Card (online)

1.   Contact the Bureau of Waterworks call center for the required documents to apply for online payments.
2.   Complete the application procedure online (overseas credit cards may not be accepted).
